Fake vetting
"Background checked" often means an ID was uploaded. That's it.
Travel Sitter connects families with the most rigorously vetted childcare professionals in the world. Real checks. Real training. No compromises.

The problem
When you need childcare abroad, or in your city, you have two options: hope for the best, or use a platform with a safety badge that means almost nothing. We looked at what's out there. We weren't satisfied.
"Background checked" often means an ID was uploaded. That's it.
Apps show you a badge but won't tell you what they actually checked.
Read the fine print. If something goes wrong, the platform is not liable. You are.
Some apps take 25% of every payment. Resentful sitters are unsafe sitters.
Our process
Every Travel Sitter goes through five non-negotiable steps before they ever meet a child.
Government ID and social security number. Not optional.
Real judiciary records. Not a database ping. Not an ID match.
A real conversation. We need to hear why you want to do this.
Scenario-based. We test judgment under pressure, not just qualifications.
CPR, choking response, emergency protocols. Mandatory. No exceptions.
Why it matters
Our founder spent three months in Southeast Asia with a three-year-old and an eight-month-old baby. She got sick in Ho Chi Minh. Her husband got sick in Singapore. She needed help she could trust, in cities she didn't know, with children who are her everything. That app didn't exist. So she built it.

platform with child-first insurance, not sitter-first
“That app didn't exist. I looked. So I decided to build it — because no parent should have to make that choice alone.”
